Cheers to LIFE!!!

a poem dedicated to my bst frnd.....whos lively spirit helpd me think dis way!!THANK YOU

reach the peak of a mountain,
Apex of a fountain,
Touch the limit f d sky,
go where a rocket could fly,
take a bungee jump,
stamp my authority with a thump,
notch the top speed in a racing,
win d opponent in a chasing,
steal the thunder of the clouds,
scream like a rock star,
with wide open arms,
atop of Eiffel tower,
cause havoc in the times square,
take all the rides in a fun fair,
hit the disco at midnight,
dance the hell out there,
and come back undrunk(!!!!),
go to the Miami beach,
have a sunbath,
and watch pleasant sights there....:)
play electronic guitar,
break it into pieces ,
scream a song,
and show the middle finger,
with the crowds raging,
with my name chanting,
fire a machine gun in air,
work with a hotty as pair,
dive underwater,
play with fishes,
fight with sharks,
and ride the blue whale,
be the king of the jungle,
and send a bone-chilling roar....

say cheers to life,
give it a toast,
life’s a game,
to be played hard,
play it fair,
or you will fall apart,
the fate mocks you,
you gotta face it with a smile,
your luck abandons you,
you gotta be agile,
you won’t get another chance,
this is the one,
treat it as your last,
and see the fun.....

silence speaks....

When you feel that something is going wrong in your life.....and you have no idea what the hell it is.....then you must go and meet this person inside you. He knows the solution.....and if not the solution he at least knows the problem. That will help......a lot. Just be yourself for a moment...... shut your ever-talkative brain and obviously your mouth too (if at all it’s itching to bark!!). start feeling your breath and just lie still for few moments.....you will feel connected to someone stronger. Though at first there may be a few hiccups....as in you won’t be able to concentrate enough.....but trust me you don’t have to concentrate as hard as a monk....its simple.....just be quiet and for few seconds be with you.....forget everything else....and then direct yourself to your dilemma . let your emotions flow.......if you are happy then it would bring a smile on your face.....if you are sad then it would bring tears on your face. Everything that we express to the outer world through our gestures, facial expressions, eyes is what you are inside at your heart. Technically or better said medically, heart is as big as our fist and al it does is pump blood to your system. But your heart does a lot more. That’s why historically heart has been associated with all the emotions mankind has ever known. And not many times do you pay heed to what your heart is saying. The silence lets your heart speak to you.you may not find your solution....but you would find solace in that silence.
Some rightly say ”silence speaks a lot”.......yes, it does. Silence does what words can’t do......

Power Packed Pessimism

A pessimist is one who sees the glass as half empty in the” is-the-glass-half-full-or-half-empty” theory. But pessimism is not as villainous as it is thought to be. It’s just a way of perceiving things in an out-of-the-box way....a bit differently.

There’s a silver lining in everything that “seems” bad. Likewise the pessimists have a silver lining to their personality too. They don’t expect anything from anyone.....that makes them the underdogs in life.....which means no expectations. They can bounce back in any situation if they get an impulse. Be it optimism or pessimism.....every attribute of a persona has some sort of energy associated with it. One just needs to know how to harness it. Say i am a pessimist......so if i fail to perform a task assigned by my boss then i would not be horribly devastated because i would never have expected me to complete that......i would not have expected anything fancy from me. That’s what would make me get out of depressing situations faster if at all i indulge in some.

No doubt positive thinking is bliss......but those who think negatively are not hunched in life. They just have to know how to use their pessimism in an optimistic manner. You see my friend.......even in maths two negatives make a positive!!:)

WHEN FATE TAKES OVER

a happy addition to the sea of tears,
an obnoxious addiction to the darkest of fears,
in this world,
the light goes dark,
the day turns night,
the ray stark bleak,
the life turns death,
the smile means frown,
as the passion dies out,
the end takes over,
as the hope fizzes out,
the death inches near,
as the sun gives in,
to the dark thick clouds,
as the smoke fills in,
rendering everything blur,
as the winds die down,
everything starts to choke,
as the fire whips out,
everything turns cold,
the earth has brust,
torn apart its crust.....

all go down,
we all drown,
in the world we created,
the majestic universe,
has come down to its knees,
it has no strength,
to go on offence......

and that’s how it ends,
there’s no superman,
to stage some miracles,
to break all the shackles....
welcome to reality,
where there’s no anonymity,
what happens has to happen,
there’s no way to change,
we face what we do,
there’s none to bail out,
God ain’t gonna help,
He’s the masterplan,
you shout or yell,
there’s no way out of hell....
it’s you,
what you gonna do,
now,today or tomorrow,
there’s happy and there’s sorrow,
whatever you wish to borrow,
you just have to act,
there’s no other pact,
to have yourself in tact....
so think what you do,
face the fate or write it,
ultimately it’s you who has to fight it.

are u a favourite??

Its difficult to be the favourite of everyone around you. I wonder how people manage that. As a person you always want to be favoured by all. But that seldom happens to someone. Maybe for that you have to forego your attitude, your self-respect sometimes......but i guess it’s worth it. It comes naturally to maximum people who have it. They don’t have an attitude at all. They have a self-respect though and its adorable the way they handle people around them. Ego is something you won’t find in their dictionary. Its good.....but everyone can’t be like that......not me specially.
But i am happy the way i am. I have people i care about and people who care about me. They are my world. I don’t need anybody else in my life. though they are very few....but they are more than enough for me. i have my attitude and those who live with it become my friends.....not that i dominate them. I love all of them very much......and i can sacrifice my attitude and ego a hundred times to make them happy.

short temper......shot temper...;)

Having a short temper is a blunder!!!! You just feel like shouting at anybody at any place and at any time.....it’s a curse!!! Mix ego with it and it becomes lethal weapon for self destruction. Even if someone is right but if that person shows his temper at that place, it takes no time for him to be on the wrong side.
Someone has rightly said that anger is a powerful weapon....it’s upon us how we use it....if we use it constructively then it would help us else it would destroy us. Believe me, the person who has a short temper regrets it the instant he is cooled off....but generally he has a big ego. So saying a sorry to the anti-party is ruled out.......so that leaves him with an unwanted situation.......he has got a wound himself to nurse....the wound of guilt.......and he has given a wound to the opposite side as well. No one benefits in this short-temper business. Many say intelligent people solve fussy situations without any fuss......but that does not make short-tempered people fool. It’s a quality which can always be controlled. All it needs is practice....and if you have some help (may be from your girlfriend!!) then it would be great.
